About us

The neoclassical-style mansion, the castle and chapel was originally built by the Nagy family in the 19th century, but the land itself was populated in 2500 as well. (Artifacts of celtic houses were revealed when renewing the castle.) There is a forest park behind the castle on 1, 6 acres, which has left from the old English park, ideal for walk, relaxing and absorption with its two lakes, close at hand. There are 100 newly plant fruit trees on the border of the North-West side of the of the territory, while there are herbs and vegetables on the South-West side of the territory, waiting for being served on the table of the guests. Szent András castle and estate was created with the renovation of the 19th century monument protected castle and construction of the guest houses for guests who want to recreate and relax.

Accommodation

Ground-space: 7, 5 acres. Accommodation is available for 48 people, taking 2-bed accommodation into account. You are free to bring your pet both to the castle and guests houses. Guests houses are country-style buildings, suitable for today's lifestyle, can be used as individual units as well for all of them have separate kitchen. Ideal leisure option for companionships. Guest house of András Puszta is equipped with sauna and tub as well. Both has excellent view of the castle, the chapel and the forest too. Huge terrace with comfortable furnitures provide relaxing in front of the guest houses.

Services, opportunities

Guests can have their breakfast or the afternoon refreshment under shady trees next to Szent András Inn, while they can see the lake, creek with the tiny bridge and the forest in front of them. Lake is also suitable for swimming for everyone who likes natural springs. Comfortable chairs and outdoor furnitures for guests. We provide outdoor baking and oven-cooking opportunity, suitable for Summer cooking and dining for guests interested in gastronomy next to the lake which is located on the North side of the garden, close to the forest. A champagne manufactory was established as well in the new cellar of the castle, soon we will offer fine goods to champagne lovers, as we will create the champagne of the castle with the professional leadership of winemaker, József Szentesi. We provide opportunity for guests to create champagne with their own label and design, even with their own hands. Building complex is also suitable for refreshment besides relaxation with its own and brought programs, art events. Ideal venue for weddings, chapel and picturesque environment on the territory ensures location for reception, party and weeding shooting in one place.

Szent András castle and park is located in the North-East corner of Tolna county, almost in the middle of the country. It takes place 50 min away, south from Budapest, 6 km away from river Danube on Bölcske-Szent András Puszta.

Fruitery, consists of 101 fruit trees, takes place behind the building, so guests can taste meals made of fruits according to the actual season. Inn is connected with acacia grove to András Puszta Guest House, where you will find wonderful view of nearby Sacred Heart Chapel.
