About us

Our offer continues in 2017. The newly wed couples get the „Czári Apartment”, that has an own terrace and a baldachin bed, as a wedding surprise from us, if the wedding is held at our premises.     •    The history of the ship goes back to the beginning of the XX. century. It was ordered by the Russian Dynasty and made in the Szomorszkij Dockyard in 1903. Romanov Dynasty used it as a cruise ship under the name of Velilikij Knyaz Alexander Mihajlovics on the River Caucasus, Mercur and Volga. The ship was present at all the important events from at beginning of the century. In 1917 it was given a new name, Harkov, that was used until 1924. After that it was named Pamjaty Tovarisa Azina and later Pamjaty Azina. There is no more data about this period in the Russian Navigational Archive. The ship changed ownership in 1996, got owned by Albanians and named Iliria. It received its current look at that time. During the reconstruction of the ship, the largest apartment, that was designed for the Czar, was made by the  original plans. The furnitures, that are part of the room, were also reproduced by those plans. The steam engine got renovated and it can be seen under the glass floor of the coffee shop in the middle part of the ship.     •    In Óbuda, on the Buda side precisely, there is a really popular beach that is an ideal spot for family programmes, tours and sport lovers. This place is the „Római Part”. Our 4-star hotel, that has 40 rooms, is located here.     •    There are Standard, Family and Captain/Manager Rooms apart from the Czári Apartment on both decks of the ship. A restaurant and coffee shop awaits for the guests on the ship.

40 guest rooms are available in the hotel – 28 double rooms, 9 family rooms, 2 captain rooms and one Czari Apartment. We can accommodate no more than 95 people.

Our panoramic terraces can be the perfect venues for outdoor ceremonies. Our present for the newly wed couple is our most beautiful suite, the Czari Apartment. The wedding guests get a discounted room rate therefore even traveling cannot be an issue.    •     Team building activities, meetings, family days, exhibitions? We have worked together with several businesses and hosted any of their events. We know, the secret of a successful event is in the well-built and well-thought management and a good preparation. Our most important goal is to see our guests go home satisfied from our events. We are fully equipped and have all the facilities required for a successful event. In addition we can help to manage outdoor programmes as well.    •     For instance: river trips, adventure park, team building activities.

Extras

From March to November there are regular scheduled boats from the hotel to the city centre giving the perfect occasion for a sightseeing from the middle of the Danube.
