About us

RepTár, the aviation museum of the city of Szolnok, unique aviation history exhibition centre in Eastern Europe. More than 4500m2 exhibition place and 60000m2 ground space, the museum can get into the centre of attention because of its impressive size. This museum is more than just aeroplane memorial park. There are not only retired and renovated planes exhibited here but many interactive gadgets to give unforgettable memories to the visitors. Services, opportunities

Adventure Park: one of the most effective and most pleasurable forms of improving the right side of our brain as well as our creativity and mental capacity is through physical activities. Children instinctively know that they can connect the right and left sides of their brain by running around, climbing and testing their abilities. This is why we want to climb a tree or balance on the rope even at an older age. Adventure Park is the playground of the adults. Not only the kids but the adults can have fun and play here eventually. The adventure park has a 2000 years old history. The first garden, Horti Sallustian aka Sallustian Garden, was built in B.C. first century by Caius Sallustius Crispus. Following his death, the garden was inherited by Emperor Tiberius who opened the doors of the garden to the public. The emperors of the Roman Empire had let the general public have fun in the adventure park. • 4D cinema: if you want to have more experience, the 4D cinema awaits for you in the hangar. You can enjoy the archive videos, introducing the Heroic age of flying, surrounded by old planes. • Simulators: Do you want to get a feel of driving a plane? Could you manage an airbus or a fighter plane? Could you take off a Boeing in case of emergency? Could you turn into a pilot? You can experience how it feels to travel in the cockpit instead of the comfortable passenger seat. Flying by using the simulator is a phenomenal experience, even tho you have played such computer games. The very first simulator, Link Trainer, was born in 1927. Developed by Edwin Link, an American amateur pilot was looking for a solution suitable for anyone who wanted to practise flying in any circumstances.

Accessibility

Accessibility: if you take motorway M5, drive until you reach the city of Albertirsa and then take the main road 405 and main road 4 until you reach Szolnok. • If you take motorway M3, drive until you reach the city of Hatvan and then take main road 32 until you reach Szolnok.

Restaurant, coffee shop and souvenir shop. Rep Tár is a huge exhibition centre and discovering the place can be tiring so there is a restaurant and coffee shop on the ground floor, if you want to have a break. You can have some refreshing drinks or a family lunch as well. Children menu is available on the menu. Rep Tár Souvenir Shop is perfect for those wanting to surprize their loved ones with some presents or souvenirs.
