About us

This 19th century built picturesque Forster Castle surrounded by several hectare parks is located in the city of Bugyi, 18km far from Budapest. Traditional Hungarian flavours, unique gastronomy, spectacular elements, wedding and conference programmes and a brand new 3-star hotel with 45 guest rooms await for our guests in this natural environment, close to the city but still far from the urban noise. We can fully manage weddings all year around in our unique built and air-conditioned event hall. There is a perfect harmony between our hotel, conference room and the nature; in terms of interior there is a harmony between the balance of traditional motives and the elements of modern age. We can provide catering services not only in the hotel but also at offsite venues.

Accommodation

There are different types of guest rooms in the hotel for accommodating 123 guests: suite, 2 and 3 bed guest rooms and two rooms for our disabled guests. All the rooms are modern, well-equipped and air-conditioned. Facilities: bathroom with shower cabin, corner bath or bath, minibar, wifi, hairdryer.

We welcome our guests with traditional Hungarian flavours in a unique environment. Our gastronomic offer is based on perfect ingredients and Hungarian traditions. We can make divine meals, grilled meats and pasta. We wait for our guests in a nice environment with a delicious food and wine selection all year around. Our menu gets changed twice a year matching to the season. It is possible to accommodate 100 people in the jerry. Ideal venue for family events, smaller corporate events and business meetings whether it is A’la Carte dining, standing reception or a served dinner. In the traditional Hungarian oven, built in the park and the jerry, we can make home-made bread and divine grilled meats. It is possible to make different kinds of stews and fish soup outdoors, to grill meat on coal and to make strudel by hand. For making traditional dishes we lit fire in the traditional oven as well. The jerry could be an ideal venue for different gastronomy events such as wine dinners or cookery workshops. Our terrace can accommodate people for up to 120 people from Spring to Autumn. There is a playground for the kids next to the jerry so the parents can keep an eye on the children from the windows or the terrace.
