About us

Arcanum Hotel which was opened in 2014 isolated from the fast-moving world, awaits its guests with the peace and quiet of the several acres park in the suburb of Békéscsaba. Comfortable rooms, delicious dishes, relaxing wellness, and experienced staff guarantee the renewal of the body and soul. Idyllic environment, modern rooms, elegant restaurant, equipped event room: everything is given for a succesful event, be it a family (graduation, christening, birthday, engagement, wedding) or business event (meeting, conference, retraining, team building, product presentation).

Accommodation

During the interior design, the creation of elegance and harmony had special attention, by using premium materials and particular solutions. Thanks to the spacious spaces, carefully selected light and colors, every condition is given to the uninterrupted relaxation. In the rooms there are minibar, safe, individually adjustable cooling/heating system, tv, radio, wired and wireless internet, bath amenities. The hotel’s 24 rooms can accommodate 54 people. One is wheelchair accessible, and three are deluxe with living room and roomy terrace. The Arcanum Hotel has one 70 sqm and one 84 sqm suite at the upper level, with its own bar and meeting room. Both have individual terrace overlooking the hotel’s park. In the livingroom, a fireplace makes your stay more intimate.

In Arcanum Hotel you can find all equipment and services which will help you relax, get rid of the modern life stress and recharge your body and soul with new energies. The hotel’s 200 m2 wellness area’s services: Finnish sauna, Scottish shower, plunge pool, steam bath, infra sauna, jacuzzi, solarium. Our experienced masseur awaits guests who want to refresh and heal with several massage types and techniques. In the fitness room with panoramic view there are treadmill, elliptical machine, bicycle, multifunctional conditioning machine and barbells for the sport-lovers. The modern bike park and table tennis are free of charge. It can be a perfect program opportunity for families and team buildings. There is also a playground for the children.

We offer our guests sightseeing, sausage and pálinka tastings, programs organised by Munkácsy Mihály Museum, Jókai Theatre, and Csabagyöngye Cultural Center. The recently renewed main street awaits its guests with several boutique shops, restaurants, bars and confectionaries. Körösök Völgye, nearby forests, castles and quarry ponds offer active pastime to the nature-lovers. You can go on trips to Gyula, Szarvas, Mezőhegyes, Gyopárosfürdő or Arad-hegyalja wine country in Romania.

You can find your own taste in the selection of Arcanum Restaurant. Beside the traditional Hungarian dishes, and the specialities of the Great Plain, the modern and healthy food-lovers can choose from a wide range of choices. The restaurant is trying to assure the proper diet for guests who have gluten, lactose, and other food allergies. We undertake to set up unique food and drink menu for weddings, business or family events.
