About us

You will find everything you need at the Barack Thermal Resort, to make your event memorable. The venue, our colleagues’ maximal attention, and the honest hospitality, which we represent as a family business for 36 years are guarantee this. There are only a few venues in Hungary, where you can find everything in a complex way: accommodation types for the various needs, diverse gastronomy, several exciting outdoor venues, elegant event rooms, and last but not least, the proximity of Tisza which gives a unique atmosphere. In the heart of it all, the spa and aqua park lying in an area of several hectares, which, in contrast to the scarce hotel wellness departments, gives a lot of opportunities to relax after meetings, or for evening programs.   At what is our versatility? With us you can easily combine the elegance of a four-star hotel with a relaxed beach lunch, but if the purpose of the event needs, we settle in with freshly baked homemade cakes and lemonade to the picturesque locations of the team building on the banks of the Tisza.

Accommodation

In our complex, we can choose from different types of accommodation to suit the needs of the event. For elegant partner meetings the Barack Thermal Hotel & Spa****’s comfort is the most ideal choice. Our hotel has a modern design and unique interior, where everything serves the guests complete comfort: high quality mattresses, unlimited wifi, coffee and tea making facilities, bathrobe, wellness towel, spa, accessible by a covered corridor. There are 24 standard and 13 superior rooms, and 2 suites, 11 quadruple rooms, all together we can accommodate 120 people.   Another 78 people can stay at the Barack Thermal Apartments, which are located a few steps away from the pool, and perfect for team building weekends. All of the 13 apartments have two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom, own terrace and parking space. Their main advantage is that they  are sufficiently separated from the other guests, but close to the wellness area. The Barack Prémium Apartments’ closed park with pool and ancient trees offers a special outdoor venue and accommodation, only 200 m away from Barack Gyógy- és Élményfürdő.   The 12 houses with terrace and Scandinavian design are perfect for groups of 30-40 people, because by renting the whole place, you can create a private sphere for the corporate team. There are an outdoor cooking and barbeque area, and a room for 15 people for the programs, where the team can have a small meeting.

Services, opportunities

In our hotel, the conference room for 150 people and section rooms have the same pleasant atmosphere as the SPA’s indoor and outdoor areas. Besides that, the Tisza’s huge bend around the city offers other options for an outdoor experience: stunning gallery forests, sandy free beach and a promenade with a bike path alternate along the river. There are a variety of programs for the different locations.   Wellness: outdoor thermal pools, adventure pool, covered swimming pool, jacuzzi, children’s pool operating all year, and seasonal beach-pool, adventure pool and baby pool, sauna world (Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, rose-apricot aroma sauna, Stollen sauna,steam cabin, Kneipp pool, tepidarium, sand bath resting area, massages, Caracalla massage bathtub, Aqua bar.   Indoor programs: night bathing with water cinema or disco, thematic sauna programs, „mozduljON” games (table tennis, darts, foosball, giant jenga, activity), bowling and billiard 200 m away from the complex, Barack Gasztroszínház, wine and palinka tastings, beer dinner with the Békésszentandrási Sörfőzde’s craft beers.   Outdoor programs: torchlight tour at night with peach palinka, beer dinner on a summer evening, grill party, cooking competition, „Finding the lost picnic basket” – Exploration program at the Tisza-bank, dragon boat, cruising on the Tisza, Tiszakécske border tour with carriage, bicycle tour. Experiences nearby: Pálinka Patika Város – Tőserdő, Reptár – Szolnok, Sörárium – Szolnok, Zwack Pálinkamanufaktúra – Kecskemét, Vadaskert – Kecskemét, Arboretum and Adventure Park – Tiszakürt, Mini Hungary and Arboretum – Szarvas.

Accessibility

Tiszakécske is located at the northeastern corner of Bács-Kiskun County, 30 km away from Szolnok and Kecskemét. From Budapest on M5 motorway to Kecskemét, then through road 445 and 44 in the direction of Szentkirály, it can be approached in 70 minutes. From Szeged take the M5 motorway to Kiskunfélegyháza, then road 4625.

Catering

Exclusive catering supplier on the venue
In our complex, guests can make a real taste journey, from classic beach food through the Hungarian cuisine’s masterpieces to sophisticated gastronomy. Our catering units are characterised by thousands of different moods and experiences, but there is one thing in common: we insist on quality, and the fresh ingredients available nearby. The Barack Bar and Restaurant, up to 90 people, awaits the guests with elegant interior, imaginative food, as well as light and homey atmosphere. During our events, we prepare the main meals in the form of a buffet or multi-course table service, but from spring to autumn it is a popular option to have a beer dinner on the terrace, or cook together. Our coffee break offer is extended by the „Barack Fresh Up” concept, which helps the guests concentrate with only healthy ingredients. The Thermal Restaurand and Café is a perfect venue for grand pizza-parties or barbeque dinners with evening parties, which with its lighter dishes and Hungarian classics offers an exciting alternative for the mail meals, same as Éva granny’s kitchen with its homey flavours. You can have the typical dishes of the beach bars at your event even in December, and our Aqua bar makes the night baths special with its wide range of cocktails.
