About us

Our castle is a landmark of Szeleste, which is only a few minutes away from Sárvár and Bükfürdő, located at the border of the friendly little village of Vas County, in a beautiful environment, in a 13 hectare magical arboretum. Szeleste is located in the Sárvás micro-county, next to road 86, 20 km away from Szombathely. The guests can enjoy both the quietness, the unique romantic atmosphere of the arboretum and the thermal spa with the water coming from their own well. The spa is located 5 minutes fro the castle, in Zsuzsanna Hotel. It is ideal for groups and corporate events, trainings, conferences, and relaxation for individual guests or families, and can accommodate 50 people all together. 

Accommodation

Standard rooms: 28-44 m2, Superior: 55-60 m2. All together: 12 rooms. The Zsuzsanna Hotel, belonging to the castle, has thermal pools, covered and outdoor, and a massage-pool too. In the hotel there are 14 rooms, equipped with bathroom, minibar, safe, phone and TV, the double, triple and quadruple rooms can accommodate 40 people. There is a drink bar at the pools, where guests can relieve their thirst after bathing. We organize barbeque nights next to the outdoor pool in the summer. 

Services, opportunities

Thermal Spa: the 55 °C thermal water is coming from our own well, drilled in the summer of 2001, from a depth of 1260 m. The water, rich in minerals, has more than 5100 mg/l salinity. It has an extremely beneficial effect on the treatment of musculoskeletal, rheumatic, cardiovascular, as well as gynecological and dermatological diseases, it has no contraindications. Medical services: massages, infrared sauna, solarium. In the Zsuzsanna Hotel there is a covered thermal pool, and a massage-pool. Our outdoor beach-pool is open from May to September. The Szelestei Thermal Spa, near the castle park is now closed. Spa guest can use the services of Zsuzsanna Hotel. The castle’s conference rooms (for 30, 60 and 250 people) can be a unique venue for conferences, symposiums, meetings, trainings, receptions, weddings, corporate, private or family events, sport and cultural programs. We await you with trained professionals, and technical equipment that satisfies all needs.
