The Bagolyvár event location gives everything to make it so. It has been considered a stable venue for many events For over a hundred years, it has been a quality hospitality venue, a stable location for many events.  Renovated in 2022, the Bagolyvár opens its doors as an event venue beyond its historic walls in an elegant vintage-style interior. Bagolyvár can accommodate up to 80 people, with the same number of guests dining comfortably in the garden. The building has been designed to face the zoo rather than the street. It’s quiet, intimate terrace can be decorated for ceremonies on request. For bridal photography, we can provide the Gundel palace and its gardens, in addition to the beautiful surroundings of the City Park. Book the Bagolyvár venue for your event, and indulge in culinary delights while chatting with the people who really matter to you under the shady canopy of the ancient wooded terrace! At Bagolyvár, everyone will find dishes from the best of Hungarian cuisine that your guests will praise for a long time. Executive chef Viktor Moldován and executive sous chef János Kovács are responsible for the menus. A family atmosphere and traditional Hungarian hospitality are the values of the Hungarian cuisine, which is offered at every menu of your choice.

Accessibility

For those arriving by public transport, the Bagolyvár Restaurant can be reached most easily from the Kisföldalatti (M1 metro line) Hősök tere or Széchenyi fürdő stop, the 72 trolleybus stop Állatkert, or the 75 and 79 trolleybus stops Hősök tere. For those arriving by car: parking is charged at HUF 350 per hour between 08:00 and 18:00 on weekdays in the vicinity of Bagolyvár Restaurant. Parking is free on weekends and public holidays.
