About us

The well-known Királyrét is in the most captivating part of Börzsöny only 47 km from Budapest. The Királyrét Castle is located here, next to the Királyrét Visitor Center. There is an ornamental park surrounded by ancient trees, a riding stable, a fishing pond and a swimming pool. Our accommodation with family atmosphere is perfect for weddings, birthdays and corporate events. Away from the noisy city, you can enjoy the cosy summer evenings, June firefly drawing or the meteoric shower in August. There are several tourist attraction, such as the Várhegy viewpoint, the Bajdázói lake, farther the Csóványos viewpoint, the Nagy-Hideg hill, the Nógrádi castle, and the Törökmezői Adventure Park. The Visegrád Castle and the bobsleigh can be reached with the ferry from Nagymaros.

Accommodation

Our guesthouse is captivating with its comfort and unique, nostalgic atmosphere. Due to the main building was built in the 1700s, each rooms are different. It is also possible to place extra beds in the rooms. Our newly built, premium rooms are available.

Accessibility

By car: From Budapest, M2 highway in the direction of Vác, after the Szobi exit, touching Verőce and Kismaros, turning towards Királyrét at Kismaros, 4 km through the village of Szokolya, the center of Királyrét is located in the forest. By public transport: From Budapest Nyugati railway station, take the Z70 Zónázó to Kismaros. Királyrét can be reached from Kismaros by bus or train.
