About us

Art Quarter Budapest is an independent contemporary art center located in the building of the former Haggenmacher Brewery in Budapest. You can find here – in the environmentally-consciously renovated industrial - several Hungarian contemporary artist’s studios and basis of creative enterprises. AQB also gives place of music studios. Its exhibition space named Project Space guests the public with unique atmosphere. Other cultural programs - concerts, theater performances, readings, film screenings - are also held in the building. The diversity of our locations offers many opportunities to events with its more than 2.000 square meters, such as conferences, symposiums, dinner parties, unique corporate and private events, film casting, filming and photo shooting.

Accessibility

The closest bus stop is Vágóhíd utca, serviced by Bus: 33, 114, 213, 214, 233 and night bus 973, which all go to the city centre. From the Déli Train Station, it is 15 minutes by train to Háros Vasútállomás, which is 350 m walk from Art Quarter Budapest. From the Háros station, 133E bus goes directly to the city centre.
