About us

The ZÁBORSZKY Cellar awaits its guests in Budafok, in the middle of the longest (100 km) continuous cellar system of the world. The specific facilities and the cellar branches with their special atmosphere, different shapes and sizes are perfect for organising various private and business events. The reception-exhibition hall is suitable for elegant, protocol events, whereas the event branch (until reaching its final face) is ideal for "light" company parties, dancing events. In the cellar there is a cloakroom for a great number of guests, and there is enough place for parking with 8 buses on the court in the same time. We can also organise open-air programs on the court (eg. barbecue, teambuilding tasks, car and product presentations or shows, etc.)."

On the right side of the appr. 60 m long and 4-6 m wide imposing red brick hall with arches you will find a barrel line. Opposite the barrels there are tools for winery and a special selection of the Hungarian vineyards. In the hall you will find the seasonal contemporary exhibition of fine arts and applied arts offering place for the young artists of our age. The elegant exhibition hall that was renovated and furnished is ideal place for exclusive gala dinners and formal dinners with music and show. Some of the barrels (there are ca. 200) are being used even nowadays. The most beautiful "art relic" barrels of the collection can be visited by our dear guests in the vine tasting branch where exclusive vine dinners are being held. Before the events you can organise vine tastings with the selected fine vines and short presentations about the traditions and operations of the winery in this branch.

Accessibility

We are approachable by car from the city center: Budafoki street (út), Szerémi street (út), Fehérvári street (út), Tétényi street (út). You can also reach us from the route nr.6 or 70 and from the M0 beltway. You can come to Budafok by bus as well: nr.3 family and nr.14, 50, 114, 158. You can take a 5 minute walk from Budafok city center to the cellar. Night buses go towards Móricz Zsigmond circus (10 min.) – the night transfer is solved with this option as well.

The PALACE CATERING is a Hungarian venture founded in 1989. Since then we have created a catering network that fits the most demanding international requirements. We also run two restaurants with different atmospheres. The PALACE CATERING has organised the welcome reception for the 14th Dalai Lama in July 1992. We have also provided the wedding menu for the Habsburg Family in autumn 1993. The inernational acknowledgement of our company had also been proven by the honour that we could arrange the palatial reception after the Evita premier in 1997.
