About us

The Folyondár Sport centre is located in a highlighted area of the 3rd district, in the border of the Kiscelli park forest. The lately modernized and extended complex provides a satisfying environment for sports, dancing, and holding other events as well. The tennis fans are welcome in one of the 10 cinder courts, from that 7 are covered. The dance education takes place in two newly built dance-room, one is 100m2, and the other is 200 m2. The larger one is a ballet room looking in the direction of the forest, and has glass-walls, that are relaxing for the eyes. The trainings and competitions of three sports (volley-ball, rhythmic gymnastics, and aerobics) take place in the 1650 m2 sport hall, though its largeness makes it possible to organise events there too. For this purpose we can provide an outdoor place as well, a 1000 m2 artificial turf area. There are 150 free parking slot available for our guests, and the participants of the different lessons, or trainings can leave their values in modern changing rooms. After the pleasantly demanding training you can choose a relaxating massage, and in the Folyondár Cafe have cooling drinks and delicious bites.

Accessibility

Our adress: 1037 Budapest, 3th district, Folyondár street 15. Our complex is easily accessible by public transport and by car too. For guests arriving by car we can recommend two routes. From the direction of Kolosy square you have to approach Folyondár street in Szépvölgyi road, while arriving from the way of Árpád bridge you can reach the sport centre in the Kiscelli street. By public transport there are more ways. The Kolosy square can be reached by bus 86, 111, 160, 206, 260, and tram 17, or szentendrei suburban railway, and from there you can get to Folyondár by bus 165.
