About us

Special location for a special event. Balaton Shipping Co. is the biggest and the most dominant concern in the Balaton Region. We have a boat park of 23 ships, including our beautiful nostalgia boat and the latest fast boats. They can be rented from 22 ports of Lake Balaton. Our boats are suitable to held: standing receptions, conferences, press conferences, business meetings, exhibitions, displays, professional and family events, weddings, bachelor and hen parties, picnics and parties.

Services, opportunities

Big boats: – Szent Miklós: the biggest boat on Lake Balaton, it can accommodate 550 people. Its lower deck is closed, 250 sqm undivided space without support, and has comfortable panorama windows. Both heating and air-condition is available. There is a wide space in the upper deck with open side and covered roof and a smaller closed room. – Füred, Siófok, and Badacsony catamaran: Lower deck of catamarans are closed, spacious, have panorama windows. Both heating and air-condition is available. There is a small, closed room and an open walking deck in the upper deck. – Szigliget: It was built in 2012, the latest big boat of Lake Balaton, which can accommodate 300 people. There is a large-sized cabin with panorama windows in the lower deck. Heating is possible. There is a wide space in the upper deck with open side and covered roof and a smaller closed room. Our nostalgy boats: – Helka, Kelén: one of the oldest boats of Lake Balaton. Boats were built in 1891 and they have kept their original exterior design after renovation as well. They can accommodate 120 people. Upper deck of the boats is open, main deck has two small open cabins and one closed cabin, as well as a small bar under the main deck. Both cabins are air-conditioned. – Csobánc: Boat was built in 1927. The main deck of the boat has open side and covered roof, but there is a small, closed saloon as well. There are two closed rooms waiting for its guests in the lower deck, one of them operates as a bar. Capacity is 60 people. – Csongor, Tünde: Boats were built in 1927. The main deck of the boats are open and partly closed. There is a small, closed cabin in the lower deck. Capacity is 45-60 people. Special boats: – Hunor és Magor gyorshajó: – Calypso: Other cabin cruisers: – Fonyód, Lelle, Szántód: There is one large-sized closed cabin and a large-sized cabin with open side and covered roof in both three upper deck of the boats. There is a small bar with buffet under the main deck, in the lower deck. – Retro water busses: with losed and open decks. – Ferries: huge open deck, suitable to organize big parties.
